Re-boring
Engine re-boring is a crucial process in restoring worn-out engines. Our precision re-boring service increases cylinder diameter to accommodate new, larger pistons. This not only restores compression but can also increase engine power and efficiency. We use advanced machinery to ensure perfect cylindricity, ring sealing and surface finish.
Cylinder heads and valve work
Our cylinder head services include pressure testing, refacing, and valve seat cutting. We can repair cracks, replace valve guides, and resurface the head to ensure a perfect seal with the engine block. Our valve work includes regrinding or replacing valves and lapping them to achieve a perfect seal. We can also convert cylinder heads to run on unleaded/gas fuels where feasible.
Crankshafts
The crankshaft is the backbone of your engine, and its condition is critical to smooth operation. Our crankshaft services include grinding, polishing, and balancing. We can repair worn journals, straighten bent crankshafts, and more to ensure your rare or vintage engine can operate efficiently.
